Under 90 minutes is a big plus for me, I can't cope really well with the "huh?" feeling that comes when suddenly realizing watching a film takes far more than I expected Persona is a great example, and Riten is another good one. A film with a solid idea doesn't need much more, and both fit in about the runtime of The Dark knight There's a couple of solid French horror films that get their point well into about 90, A L'interieur, Amer and Calvaire comes to mind. Martyrs must be about the 100's. Tsukamoto had made a couple of awesome films in well under 90 minutes. Tetsuo: The Ironman and Haze are both under 70 minutes. On that style, Electric Dragon 80000V is rather short too. There are tons of them I guess but it gets a bit hard to recall them, a solid and complete film rarely feels short
