Calfornia Dreamin' is amazing.
I voted for a different Bruce song but that song is brilliant too (as most Bruce songs are).
Yay for the Yeah Yeah Yeah's All I Want For Christmas is awesome.

I really love the YYYs, but I think I forgot about their Christmas song. Oh well, glad they made it anyway.

What's This is brilliant beyond words. Twelve Days by The Muppets is ace. Never heard A Christmas Duel, don't care for Silent Night, Kinks and Darlne Love are good, love the Ronettes, and I thought I had all the the YYY's songs but I've not heard that one.

I never thought of California Dreamin' as a 'Christmastime' song! If I had, I would have voted it for it.It's a great song but I forgot it was set in Winter

I was just watching that most festive of Christmas films Lethal Weapon. I didn't realise Darlene Love was actually in it, playing Danny Glovers wife! None of her Xmas tunes though, although I hope the title theme appears somewhere in this chart.

It would be a bit weird if Darlene Love songs were in the Lethal Weapon movies considering they're not musicals. I hope Lethal Weapon by Honeymoon Suite is not in the countdown, there is no mention of Christmas, winter, Santa or ickle baby Jesus anywhere in it. Although, it does have the word 'cold' in it, so you never know.....

Lethal Weapon the musical could work...
Let him jump!
We will not let him jump
Let him jump!
We will not let him jump
Will not let him jump will not let him jump
No no no no
Sergeant Murtagh Sergeant Murtagh Sergeant Murtagh let him jump
Be~elzebub has a devil put aside for Riggs, for Riggs etc

I meant the song that plays during Lethal Weapons titles should appear in this chart.

Ah, when you said 'title theme' I thought you meant 'Lethal Weapon' which is the title.......never mind, I get you now

I voted for Jingle Bell Rock, so hopefully it is in there somewhere......

What's This? - brilliant

Merry Christmas Baby - Bruce just gets Christmas somehow.

John Denver and Muppets - loads of better versions of this one.

Hives and Cyndi Lauper - yeah, that's pretty good.

Sinead O'Connor - was this used on an advert? Anyway, it is atmospheric if something I'd never particularly go out of my way to listen to.

The Kinks - meh.

Darlene Love - she's done better Christmas songs, but it's still good.

The Ronettes - yeah, it never really escapes the naffness.

YYY - that one's pretty good.

I'm pretty sure it was one of those "Buy some baby product and we'll donate a mosquito net/jab against something to developing countries".

Spotify playlist here. I made it collaborative so you wouldn't have to wait for me to update it while I'm finishing exams.

It's used towards the end of Fred Claus

I first heard it on a compilation cd.

I like Blue Christmas by Elvis, but the Sesame Street version is so much better

Good King Wenceslas - quintessential Christmas.

Camera Obscura - I love this band, yet have never heard this. It's great.

Elvis - great.

Really pleased Camera Obscura made it.

I think I forgot to vote for Sinead. Shame on me. It's from the Christmas classic that is Ghosts of Oxford Street, which also sees Nick Cotton playing Thomas de Quincy.

Completely forget about Blue Christmas. I doubt I would of voted for it unless I was really struggling to think of something but I like it.

Christmas In Hollis much like Run DMC itself is just amazing.

There are only a few hundred songs in the world that can't be bettered by having Muppets sing them.

Slap My Bitch Up sung by The Swedish Chef would be a joy.

Charlie Brown is lush.

The Darkness - the only time they've been somewhat tolerable.

Candy Cane Children- It's a tad depressing but it's still excellent.

Jehovah's Most Secret Witness - Fuck yes!

Have Yourself A Merry Little Christmas- I had a different cover of it but Sinatra's is class

White Stripes was a bit rubbish.

Haven't seen that episode of Community, but it's pretty good.

Not a huge fan of Sinatra, but that was decent. Prefer other versions, though.

God Rest... is superb.

Need to start catching up and listening to those I don't know but Charlie Brown, Sinatra and God Rest Ye are all very good.

It's a good cover, but for me, no one can beat Judy Garland's version. It's sublime.

That's made me very happy.

One thing, you said greatest Christmas film ever. I don't remember Kermit singing during The Dead.

I've never seen The Dead, but I'm sure Kermit singing in it would have improved it greatly.
