John Denver and the Muppets - yeah, that's OK.

The Killers - they're just a bit shit, really.

Tales from the Crypt - very funny.

Leonard Cohen - very miserable.

What else is Christmas good for if not misery? Has Eastenders taught us nothing?

Isn't a rhetorical question? Auld Lang Syne, I mean? I thought it was should they be forgot? Nah, bollocks to that.

The correct answer is "Well maybe it just means that maybe we should remember that we forgot them or something. Anyway, its about old friends".

Not a fan of Do They Know It's Christmas, surprised it's so low though. In the Bleak Mid-Winter should have been much higher.

Completely agree with this.

Its a shame about In the Bleak Midwinter, as it's one of my favourites, though sadly there weren't as many highly voted carols as I'd have hoped.

Electric Mayhem is fantastic, listening to it now.

Auld Lang Syne is heartwarming.

Band Aid is just...wrong, yet I do always sing along to it.

In The Bleak Midwinter is gorgeous.

Auld Lang Syne is lovely and the Band Aid song is like We Are The World to me, they're both so goddamn catchy that I can't help but like them.

Dr Teeth!

Bleak Midwinter's lovely. Not too keen on Band Aid and I really dislike Auld Lang Syne, but that might be down to the fact I reckon New Year's Eve is the most utterly pointless thing ever.

It's still a wonderful song though - even if New Year's Eve is a little pointless (though my best friend throws fantastic parties, so I'm a fan).

Never even considered California Dreamin'. It's an ace song.

Low is great.

Joan Jett isn't.

Mamas and Papas is a wonderful song.

What sort of cold-hearted person would say that Low are dull. A couplet like 'the beds were small / but we felt so young' says so much about nostalgia for a period represented by Christmas and melancholy for its passing, in such wonderfully simple and unvarnished terms. (they do say 'it was just like Christmas' an awful lot of times though.)

I'm not a fan, I'm afraid - they're not bad, but they're not great either. I've listened to their Christmas album and that one which was an Audio HoF nomination (Things We Lost in the Fire), but they all merge into one big song in my head. I like the atmosphere they have, but overall I don't get it.

The Low Christmas album is gorgeous.

Bruce! Hopefully more to come from the great man.

Now that 12 Days of Christmas has arrived, I hope the Frank Kelly version makes it too.

Sadly, the Frank Kelly version didn't make the list - only you voted for it (I completely forgot about it sadly). It's hilarious though.
