Yes, Blue Christmas. The best version ever! and I love that Chef song. The more Darlene Love the better. Can't believe I didn't vote for The Nutcracker or The Christmas Waltz.

Yay Tim Minchin

That Welsh song and the Nutcracker are both lovely.

I love She & Him but I've never listened to their Christmas album.

Their Christmas album isn't as good as some of their other stuff, but it's still worth a listen - especially their version of Sleigh Ride.

Haven't heard that B&S version before. Casiotone is good.

I Hate Christmas is amazing and should be in the top 10. Not heard of the other two artists, never mind those songs. I shall rectify that.

Just listened to all the ones I don't know. The Minchin was better when it was being funny, I must've heard Christmas All Over Again before but don''t remember it all. It was ok. Ar Hyd y Nos was lovely. Didn't care for the Belle & Sebastian and Cold White Christmas wasn't much better.

Yeah, I'm not a fan of the Belle and Sebastian either, though I like other stuff by them.

Slow Club was lovely.

Pretty much agree with you on the Ronettes - they've done better, but that one's perfectly fine.

Minchin - Monotonous and incredibly annoying. I don't mind some of his stuff, but this was Mitch Benn levels of atrocious.
Petty - Like some of his songs, but this isn't one of them
Ar Hyd y Nos - Was I the only voter?
Blue Christmas - Really cheered me up after the Minchin
Nutcracker - Ok
Swedish Chef - See Blue Christmas
Winter Wonderland - Lovely
She & Him - Sweet, really like that album
B & S - Bit surprised at the negative comments, I think it's one of the best on the list so far.
I Hate Christmas - Ok
Cold White Christmas - Yeah, liked that
Christmas TV - Really good
Frosty - Good

Yep, Rawls - only you voted for Ar Hyd y Nos (I'd never heard it before, but it's lovely) Only a few single votes made it - from now on, it's two or more.

The English language version crops up quite a lot, memorably in The Sopranos.

Sorry, Scarface, was the Minchin yours? It just seemed never ending.

I still haven't watched any of The Sopranos, despite the best intentions to.

Nothing says festive like 86 episodes of Italian American organised crime.

It is over-long but I really like it a lot

P.S. I prefer to go by the nickname Brooksy in an effort to distance myself from Scarface in general (except for the Hawk's Scarface which is awesome).

Also, yay for Kanye, Christmas in Harlem is one of his best Good Friday offerings.

You could always go by arface. And pronounce it like a pirate. Piracy is hot right now, I think it's due to the recession.

And yes, Kanye is awesome. He makes Gimli want to learn to beatbox.

That's a possibility but I've been turned off pirates by THAT awful series of movies [/endGimlibaiting]

I'd love to see a dwarf rapper. Well actually, I don't all that much and if I see one in the Hobbit I'm going to murder Peter Jackson, but it would be amusing.
