Thanks for a fantastic list MoveAddict and what a fantastic top 10.

Carol of the Bells - beautiful
Happy Christmas (War is Over) - Love it, my favourite Christmas song.
All I Want for Christmas Is You - One of the most joyful songs around. When it hit 12 last night this came on in the bar I was in and everyone went mental (in a good way)
Peace on Earth/Little Drummer Boy - Totally amazing, it made my legendary top 250 songs list.
Christmas (Baby Please Come Home) - one of my favourites.
Fairytale of New York - My second favourite Christmas song

Great work MA. Just a shame you couldn't fix the vote so we didn't have that awful song at number 1 , Bruce Stringbean is almost as bad.

I Wish it Could Be Christmas Everyday and Christmas (Baby Please Come Home) are both ace though.

Bruce - awesome version.

Darlene Love - complete bliss.

Wizzard - good.

The Pogues - I could write an essay on how good that song is. A deserved winner.

Thanks for doing this, MA, it was a great list. And if we did it again next year, it would be a lot different considering some of the songs that I've only heard for the first time or forgot about.

Oh Gimli It's almost endearing for you to be a contrarian sometimes.

The best Christmas song ever is All I Want For Christmas Is You - Mariah Carey.

I was about to berate you for not liking Springsteen but I'm currently giggling like an idiot at the name "Bruce Stringbean". I'm finding it disproportionatly funny.

Eartha Kitt - Wowzers!
Dean Martin - Lovely tune, I voted for something different in case he split the vote though.
Andy Williams - Terrific song
John and Yoko - Also quite brilliant
Mariah Carey - I've never been that much of a fan of her but this song is good.
Bing Crosby - I think I forgot to vote for this. There is something wrong with me.
Bruce Stringbean - Amazing song, as you'd expect from the Boss.
Pogues & MacColl - A deserving winner, a really excellent song.

Thanks for all your hard work MA, I'd love to see this run next year so I can vote for songs I'd idiotically forgotten

While I didn't get around to voting (sorry!) I've been following the list, and it's a damn good 'un, thanks MA!

I will say that A Spaceman Came Travelling should've been in there somewhere though.

It's better than at least 95% of the songs in the list, to be fair.

The Pogues song is good although I prefer the Wizzard one. Shame Gary Glitter's Another Rock And Roll Christmas didn't make it, it's actually a quality tune.

The Darkness, Nickelback, Chris De Burgh and Gary Glitter. Your ipod must carry a public health warning. What makes it worse is that out of those four, the one you should be least ashamed of listening to is the nonce.

It's cheesy as hell with an infectiously catchy chorus. Perfect Christmas song.
