This would go some way to explaining why he unexpectedly dropped out of directing the next X-Men film, a franchise he's been verbally very passionate about. Based on the 'normal' Star Wars movie production time of three years they're already behind schedule (maybe)! Personally I think this would be a good match. Stardust alone proved Vaughn's skill at giving the audience a highly-entertaining fantasy adventure. If this proves to be true then may the Force truly be with him. He's going to need it or face the wrath of a million fanboys!

Don't see it as they'd probably want whoever does it do a trilogy & given his past track record just don't see them trusting him to stay the distance.
