Before going to watch the movie I read a lot of negative reviews on this film, it worried me a little as I enjoyed the first one and thought it would let me down, I have to say I thoroughly enjoyed it, there was many a jumpy scene and it kept my heart racing the whole way through, the 3D effects were awesome and although some may say otherwise I found the storyline easy to follow, easier than the first anyway, there's a lot more gore than there was in the first movie but it only adds to how good a movie it is, I will say that if you haven't played the games or seen the first movie it may be a little hard to understand but my personal opinion is it was awesome, there was never a dull moment and there was an epic battle with Pyramid Head at the end, who, gets a lot more screen time than he did in the first film, the scary nurses make an appearance also.
