Luke running Jedi academy! I`ll have to check but pretty sure I predicted that earlier in the thread!. Will be interesting to see how that develops!

I wonder how Mark Hamill's feeling right now. I can just picture him - jubilant that his career's been resurrected back to the levels of the original trilogy, he opens the long-awaited script.... "I get killed by Jar-Jar Binks' even clumsier grandson in the first 10 minutes?!?!?"

Bless his socks!! I always felt bad for him that he didn't go on to have the same success as Harrison!. I hope this sees him signed up another three movies with Luke dying by the third movie and getting the fantastic ending the character deserves!!

First scene, Jar Jar Funeral with flashbacks to a gruesome death at the hands of a bunch of teenagers from the Jedi Academy who are secretly practicing the dark arts of the Sith after school!

they have to start this year for a 21-27 may 2015 opening.

helps if kennedy sticks to lucas/callum's production style of minimal physical sets/locations for a shorter filming schedule.
or maybe disney don't mind spending more than the $110mil per movie lucas did for the prequels,

but i would hate the 1st 'star wars' in a while to become a runaway production like 'john carter' and 'lone ranger'.

 I would've liked to have seen del Toro's take on Star Wars (as well as his alien designs). Looks like eligible directors for this are dropping like flies.

Yeah, the media seemed to take Jason Flemyng's jokey interview comments (that he immediately backtracked on) that he was waiting for Vaughn to call him up for SW7 as confirmation when it was nothing of the kind!

Watching the Avengers in the cinema I did thought George Lucas should of base Episode 1 on Seven Samurai. The opening scene in Avengers was kinda traditional Star Wars and later heroes were uniting to take down an alien army.
