Even though what he said about AVENGERS ASSEMBLE caused a bit of an outcry, Wally Pfister is an excellent cinematographer, and his work for Nolan was brilliant. TRANSCENDENCE sounds very intruging and I look foward to seeing it when it comes out. As for Johnny Depp, as long as he doesn't play a pale-skin funny guy or a drunken Disney pirate, then that's fine by me (if he does get to be in it), because while Depp may be a great actor, he's become kind of typecast and I'm not sure the success he has had over the last nine years has been a good thing.
