So we're allowed non-fiction then?

Sorry, only just noticed this. Yep, non-fiction is fine.

Au contraire.... it just proves that at my age I forgot I read it Do you expect me to remember every little phrase I read, or just concentrate on the glossy headlines !

I think my list was only 50, so if I get chance I might go back and double it up with some non-fiction.

My fault really. I just gave it the same title as Rhubarb's poll to have some continuity between the two.

I've made up my shortlist, expect my list to still be late because it's me, isn't it.

I originally said a month, which is midnight on the 20th. But if there's not enough lists I'll be extending it.

I just sent a list - of 75 which I now note wasn't a given option. I'll up it to 100 if you need me to.

75 is fine. Anything up to 100 is ok, even if it is something odd like 84 or 97 or other random numbers under 100. I feel like I'd be insulting you if I listed any more numbers.

Just had a quick browse through, 54 and 67 jumped out and made me grin. I once wrote a really long children's story that essentially ripped off number 54, but with a zombie.

54 is the only book I have two copies of, I think - I got one a couple of Christmasses ago because my childhood one was so battered. Its genius

It is great. I actually went to Amazon to order a copy last night after posting that and I read a review from someone who was so horrified about it they complained in order to get it taken out of the school library.

Can I put Neil Gaiman's Sandman as one entry despite it being, y'know, many books or do I have to split it by volume?

Did you read the response to it? Starts off "It's a horrible book, isn't it? We love it."

I'm actually happy to take these as either one entry or split, same as the Scott Pilgrim books. They may turn up more than once. But if someone votes for say The Dead and Dubliners, then The Dead would technically be there twice as well. I'm going to leave it up to the individual voter.

Ok cool. I'll split it into 5 then as per the absolute editions.

Edit: typo

One way or the other! I don't want to potentially split Sp's votes.

If I was going to make the decision for everyone then I'd say put all series themed books as one entry.

This was originally supposed to be ending in two days, but we haven't had a great deal of lists in. Can I just ask anyone else who's interested in sending a list to just let me know on thread, please? That way I can get an idea of numbers and how long to extend the deadline by.

That's great, thanks guys. I don't think we'll have enough to go ahead though, not unless there's some more interest.

I'll try and get a list in by the weekend. I've got a long list I just need to trim it down and order it.
