There is a sequel. Unless I had a really vivid dream.

This. Thought I was the only one who loved this game.

Ahhh, the joy of hurling giant stone marbles down a corridor at the enemy....

Another yes please, I thoroughly enjoyed the original.

I would also like a sequel to Psychonauts. By far and away the most enjoyable and inventive platform game I've played in the last decade.

There was Viva Pinata: Trouble in Paradise which was basically an expansion pack.

I'm talking about a true sequel built from the ground up. Imagine the type of complicated ecosystem they could create for the next generation of consoles.

In no particular order:

Limbo - Doesn't need a direct sequel, but a spiritual successor would be nice!

Mirror's Edge - One of the few games if not the only game this generation that was the beginning of an entirely new genre, it's desperately asking for a sequel.

Rayman Origins - One of the best 2D platformers a since the 2D era, needs a (non-Wii U exclusive) sequel!

Blast Corps - Another game which is in its own genre, one of Rare's most underrated IPs.

The Burnout series.

Enslaved

Mirror's Edge 2 is in development which can only be a good thing.

Shadow of the Colossus. I know the Last Guardian is on its way but I just want to take out more Colossi. Maybe a futuristic setting or something would be cool. Oh well...

G-Police 1 & 2 - Great PS games, could definitely do with a 3rd entry in the series.

Heavy Rain - A new story and characters but just something like it would be great.

LA Noire - A flawed game but had many many good things going for it. Like Heavy Rain, a new story and characters are needed but a spiritual successor would be most welcome.

Colony Wars - Another old PS title. It had some epic space battles.

I purchased Binary Domain and loved it...

How about Assault Suit Valken or Cybernator from the SNES days...absolutely awesome game. Old school.

Oh my - good call on Viva Pinata. One of the games that came with my original Xbox360. Cracking game, hard work but very rewarding. Looked the business too!

I'll second that, even an expansion pack. the game was huge with bugger all to do. Serious lack of proper side missions, and the first main character was a knob.

Also a new Gabriel Knight game would be awesome

I've just recently finished LA Noire, and the only thing I found annoying was the collectibles - especially the gold movie reels.  The rest of the game was really enjoyable.  Repetitive, yes, but with a real cinematic feel to it thanks in no small part to the great voice work and cool jazz soundtraack.

But yeah, Phelps was a bit of a dick - Kelso was a much more interesting character

It sort of is. Project 2. They've only released a screenshot so far, and it looks more like concept art than anything, but it's very LIMBOesque.

Very surprised both these series missed being updated and sequelised (that a real word?)  on the PS2 or PS3. i still have CW: Red Sun and it plays awesomely still.

I'm working through it now, on the last set of investigations with the Arson squad. Have been enjoying it after playing Borderlands all last month and though its repetitive like a lot of Rockstar games, I'll finish up the collectibles and do all the cases 5-star too before I next play either Borderlands 2, ME2 (on insanity) or ME3; not decided which to plump for just now.

Wasn't there talk of a sequel earlier this year? Not sure if it amounted to anything but I remember it being hinted at back in August or thereabouts.
