When you watch movies over and over you get to know the best bits, obviously.
Whether its a particular bit of dialogue, action scene, cinematography etc. some films have more than others. I was thinking which film had the most 'moments' in a movie you watch alot.

Im, because I watched it last week and realised what a gem it is, going for cliffhanger! I present my case:

from start to finish and i apologise if my order is a bit out..

the opening fall
the narly basejumpers
the mid air money transfer and shoot out
the plane crash
the pulling walkers rope (a'hem)
the glorious slow mo case breaking
the avalanche
the flare in the night vision
the shadowy baddies coming over the hill shot
the sliding fight scene inc. face grazing and ice hammer dangle
the money burn
the bats
the falling down the hole to avoid gunfire
the fight with the guy from cool runnings
the swinging on the breaking rope explosion
the exploding bridge dash
the slow mo narly basejumper shooting and narly surviving basejumper jump
the slow mo frank shooting
Qualin shooting his bird
tucker shouting 'seasons over pal' as he kills the soccer mad baddieThe rabbit wearing the tracker
the sly leap of faith to evade gunfire
the fight on the ice
the money into the rotary blades
the hanging on the ladder
the fight on the chopper inc. the f!#k yeak death of qualin ' keep your arms and legs inside the vehicle at all times!'

25 I tell ye!, 26 including the score!

plus tons of snowy mountain money shots and countless one liners.

i know this is just my opinion but i cant think of many films with that much good shit crammed in, it litterally never stops with the set pieces. Can anyone better Cliffhanger?

Maybe it's just because I happen to like it, but Pulp Fiction seems to have a lot - helped in no small part by how often it's been aped/referenced over the years. Goodfellas, Ghostbusters too, maybe?

I can see why Cliffhanger would be chosen given it seems to be on ITV2, GOLD or Sky 1 every other day.

Amazingly, no - I've seen the whole thing twice. Okay, full disclosure - I seem to recall some blokes in crap leather trench-coats and a load of dull action sequences too.

Jaws. Yes, it's no secret that it's my favourite movie but come on, people, you can't deny that it's jam-packed with unforgettable scenes and moments...

The opening attack
The corpse and crabs on the beach
The typing of "SHARK ATTACK"
The one shot ferry scene
The Kintner boy attack (with the reverse zolly, or whatever you wanna call it)
Quint's chalkboard-scratching entrance
The pier attack
"This was not a boat accident!"
The tiger shark
Mrs Kintner slapping Brody
Sean copying his father's every movement
Brody, Ellen and Hooper at the dinner table
Cutting the shark open
Ben Gardner's head
The mostly-one-shot argument with the Mayor over the closing of the beaches
The cross-cutting of the beginning of tourist season with Brody and Hooper desperately trying to get help
The shark fake-out
The utter chaos of people rushing out of the water
Michael's shock
Quint's shack full of shark jaws
"Here lies the body of Mary Lee..."
"Chum some of this shit!"
"You're gonna need a bigger boat."
The barrel chase.
Scars, Indianapolis speech, 'Show Me The Way To Go Home'
Quint smashes the radio
The shark tows the boat
The underwater cage scene
Quint's death
"Smile, you son of a bitch!"
And if you're counting the score, then why the hell shouldn't I?

If my counting's right, that's about 31.

I know there's not many scenes that I haven't listed and frankly EVERY scene and moment in Jaws I adore. But I thought I'd list the bits that other people would probably agree with...for the most part, anyway. For instance, one moment I haven't listed is, shortly before the fake shark prank, there's a shot that starts close with Brody walking and talking into his radio, and it gradually becomes a wide shot as we follow him onto the beach to see a huge buffet of tourists. That's always chilled me to the bone. However, not many people really remember the shot when I mention it, so I thought I should probably leave it off the list.

I know many will think it's ridiculous how many moments I've listed, but, as you said, it's a matter of opinion. God, I fucking love this movie.

If I tried to list every brilliantly funny line or moment from AIRPLANE!, we'd (a) probably get into the 100's and (b) we'd be here all night.

So I won't. You all know the memorable bits I mean.
