...because it is the only horror story from Different Seasons and a bloody creepy one at that. For years now, I've thought that that it can be part of a portmanteau horror film. The same club where the story is told appears in The Man Who Would Not Shake Hands (from Skeleton Crew) with the same butler in each - Stevens - who has an uncanny knack of not ageing.
King does attract a more respectable effort in adapting his work these days, and I think this one will, at the very least, not be a complete and utter sack of shit.
