 The two Python films are amazing, probably the funniest lice action films in the last 40 years, Jaws is my top 20 films and President's Men is fantastic. I disliked Nashville when I first saw it but I love it now. Not too keen on the two from Mel Brooks though an d Manhattan is, along with Annie Hall, my least favourite Woody Allen film.

 I love Tootsie, the conversation about the tomato commercial always cracks me up. Starman and The Verdict are great and Manon des Sources is in my top 50 films.

 Raiders is in y top 20 films. The Big Easy, In The name Of The Rose, My left foot, Body Heart and The Long Good Friday are all very good. I love The Dresser, two of cinema's best performances in that film.

 Crimes and Misdemeanors - Quite good, Alda especially
The Elephant Man- Probably my third favourite Lynch, haven't seen it in yonks though
Once Upon A Time In America- Amazing stuff
Raising Arizona - Wouldn't make my Top 5 Coens but I like it a lot
The Big Chill - I always think of High Fidelity when Barry and Dick exclude You Can't Always Get What You Want from their Top 5 songs about death because "of it's involvement in The Big Chill" when I think about the film.
Ran - Saw half of this and fell asleep because I was incredibly tired. Really liked what I saw though.
Cinema Paradiso - I used to adore this film years ago when I saw it for an Italian class (along with Caro diario). The ending is one of my favourite scenes in any film, ever.

 Secrets and Friends was the first Miike Leigh film I saw, Loved it. Manhattan Murder is one of my favourite Allen films.

Really not a fan of Schindler's List.

The Adventures of Priscilla, on the other hand, is a fantastic film and should be in more lists.

 Schindler's List - Good but I like the performances more then the film itself.
What's Eating Gilbert Grape - I watched this four times in a week and a half for school once. Now I'm breaking out in a cold sweat thinking about it.

 I've not seen In The Bleak Midwinter but I love the others. The Dish is my favourite live-action comedy from the last two decades.

 Unforgiven and the top three are great. I like Lambs mainly for Foster and Shore's music and I'll never understand the praise for Hopkins in that film. Not seen The Thin Red Line since about 1999, but I remember not really caring for it.
