Up there as one of the best - if not the best - new IPs of this generation, without a doubt. The stealth and combat gameplay are spot on, and the missions full of little things you will only discover after a few playthroughs. The story doesn't delve quite as deep as it could - there are a few avenues, such as the magic of the Outsider vs the Overseers, that aren't explored satisfactorily, and the main character's silence is frustrating, but this is made up for by a beautifully crafted world to explore, an interesting supporting cast and a brilliant art style (although technically, on the 360 at least, it can run a bit ragged at times - texture pop-in being the biggest problem). I'd much rather play a new IP with exciting new ideas than another identikit sequel. It has its flaws, but you'll be willing to overlook them.
