 I should say that I really liked Brazil, Harry.

Usually me and Terry Gilliam's films don't quite gel (although I really like Twelve Monkeys) but Brazil was an interesting watch.

 Trouble is that what's whorey depends on who the voters are. Take The Room for example, crashed and burned when Paul nominated it, but if he'd nominated with a different voter group it could have got to the final. Or when Miles nominated Lawrence of Arabia, seemed the most obvious winner ever, got beaten by If....

 I wanted to reduce Paul to a bloody, heaving pulp after watching The Room. Not only was it bad, it was boring.

 Cool. I dug Midnight Run a lot more than I expected to as well. I'd seen, and enjoyed it, before but it was a long time ago and I didn't expect it to hold up as well as it did. Grodin is immense in it and Farina is really convincing as a Psycho Gangsta. I had it ahead of a couple of films that made round 2 I think.

 Jaws is the 5th best film on the original list with Brazil being 1st.

Placing 1st is better than placing 5th ergo Brazil is the better film.

You can't argue with mathematics .

 Ok, got a deadline for you. Going to close this Friday midnight. I think all but three have said on thread that they've sent fresh votes, so if anyone who hasn't voted yet does want to change their votes, do so by Friday midnight. As we haven't had a poll set up for this round we'll follow Matty's suggestion and base the public vote on first round placings. Anyone who is in the next HoF, can you get blurbs to us by the end of the weekend, please?
