 Well, you have always taken things seriously but this is taking the cake. I'd understand if a complete newbie/novice on this forum would have been confused/appauled by gifs and what they represent.

 I really like Katy Perry. I also really like Lady Gaga, is that allowed?

I really love E.T, TGIF, The One That Got Away, are all really great pop songs. She has quite an infectious humour as well. I watched her on Graham Norton one night alongside Cheryl Cole and she really showed Cole up to be the personality-void robot she is, Perry was full of great stories and laughing along with the jokes. She seems a great person to be friends with which is a key factor in being marketable to girls.

Oh and he's a terribly unfunny man who relies on squeezing/begging a laugh from the audience rather than writing, delivery or timing.

Except it's not. Twishite is a bunch of delusional fangirls who can't separate film with reality and are don't realise they could never stand a chance with ''R-Patz'' anyway. Russell Brand is universally disliked, regardless of if you're a fan of Katy Perry. He gets a lot of hate on these boards and is the poster boy for annoying.

 I don't mind a bit of Katy Perry. She's one of the more tolerable pop stars of the moment I guess. I don't turn over if I hear her music, as I do with most other pop at the moment, and I do find some of her songs quite catchy. Likewise Gaga. The other thing Perry has in her favour, and I apologise in advance for the very shallow comments that I'm going to make here; she is fucking stunning. I have no idea if she is a nice person or not, she may very well be an annoying cunt, but she never really fails to look drop dead gorgeous. As for Brand, I thought they made quite an interesting couple, certianly more interesting than most other celeb couples. You may not find Brand particularly funny, but he's a clever, insightful chap and always comes across as a nice fella, I've no idea what the cause/reason for their split was, but I think the way Brand handled it in the media was pretty cool. Cant say I've heard Perry talk about it enough to form any kind of opinion on how she handled it, and given I havent heard much from her makes me think she probably also handled it pretty well in the media too. So fair play to em. I certainly cant see how Brand was using it for publicity? Very strange. Still, Last Friday Night is a great little pop song isn't it, and I really like the video. I'm not a fan of Vader's gif heavy posting style, but I cant say I'll ever get tired of watching Perry on screen.

Her music is great and yes, she's ridiculously attractive. Her personality is also another thing that sets her apart from the rest. You should YouTube some interviews of her, she comes across very likeable, warm, charming and quirky.

She did a much better job of hosting SNL than Russell Brand. And he's meant to be the comedian/actor.
