 Well anyone watch this on Monday night? thoughts?

It was a pretty solid opening episode - hopefully Tara will be a more interesting character now shes a vampire.

Interesting to see where the vampire authority storyline goes - nice to see Bill & Eric working together they make a good team.

 been a good first lot of eps, the Bill / Eric storyline is still the most interesting though.

 Really enjoying the Eric and Bill storyline, I get the impression they'll be dragging Sookie in to help them I really hope they don't all get involved again, that love triangle (now a square I suppose) is really getting old.

Tara would want to be less annoying as a vampire, cause she was really f***ing annoying.

I'm also intrigued the fairy club and the revelation about Jason and Sookie's parents.

I think it's damn poor, they can seriously kill off half the characters now and I wouldn't care. Most of them serve no purpose now.

 some of the other storylines for the more minor characters can be pretty boring at times.

This show's really gone downhill over the past season or two, far too many characters that need to be served screentime and badly conceived plotlines that drag out for an entire season.

The supporting cast is filled with fun characters but they don't seem to know how to use them effectively, giving the likes of Terry, Sam, Hoyt and Lafayette season long storylines that start off intriguing but just end up being an unecessary diversion from the main narrative. It's an area where the show pales significantly in comparison to the Vampire Diaries.

Still, I've heard this season gets better pretty soon and Pam continues to remain fantastic.

 I have to say I'm still really enjoying it as much as ever. It's just so totally fucked up. It's fantastic! It's one of those shows that I don't try to think about too much and just go with the flow.

I haven't seen this weeks episode yet but the Vamps on the council drinking Lilleths blood and having an awesome but deadly night out on the tiles was great!

I gave up on this season, it was boring. The main stars aren't featured enough and there are far too many minor characters.

 yeah i've not been overly impressed with it - they are cramming too many storylines in , and most just aren't very interesting.

and am finding the vampire authority storyline just weird.

 I'm really enjoying this season actually. I think the vampire politics is really interesting and now that Russel had Emma it means Sam and Luna will have to get involved. There are some stories that are less interesting than others but I like that they're expanding the their stories.

 Do we think Eric is going to be able to bring Bill back from the brink? He's totally brainwashed.

Loving this series, Russell Edgington is such a great character. Also, loving the Pam/Tara stuff.

 HOLY SHIT!!!

I think this season is easily the best so far!! I'm loving it; the Lillith story just gets crazier and crazier. Clearly Ball's gone all out on his last season, I don't see what's left to do next season,

Sam bursting out of the vamp was amazing, easily better than Russell on the news!!

 liked the finale - bit disappointed with how quickly / easily Russell was killed though.

loved all the gory bloody vamp deaths and the fiankle with Bill - WOW - such a shock .

hopefully season 6 will be an improvement on this one.

I think you mean Bill's reincarnation. That was actually scary, I was on the edge of my seat and then having Eric yell "Run!!", ERIC!? Fuckin hell, I can't wait for next season.

I thought this season was a total bore. They killed off Russell far too easily, and the whole finale led up to Bill being resurrected. Lame.
