That's exactly it though. In general terms we don't want people to get in trouble because they give in, understandably, to being provoked - while it can explain jumping up and down on site rules on abuse it can't really excuse them. So the sensible thing is to ditch whatever the irritant is. I've done it myself on the point of boiling over.

And while quotes can inadvertently circumvent that I'd hope no-one would do it deliberately as that wouldn't really be playing fair?

Not at all, he knows I have blocked him, it's not a secret. I wrote my post to explain why I did so because people were wondering. Plus, as far as I can see, he had been asking people to try to get us to unblock him so I felt the need to explain the situation. Plus, I'm not even the first one to have blocked him. Or the first person to block anyone for that matter. And I didn't force anyone to block him, I'm not this fanatical leader you seem to making me out to be. You have misread the situation without knowing all of the facts, you don't know what's been going on for the past three weeks in your absence.

And why shouldn't I block someone I don't like? You don't like reading my posts, you can block me, I don't care. No skin off my nose.

I won't mention blocking anyone again as I realise talking about it is not a very nice thing to do and I apologise to vad3r if I upset him about it.

Yeah that's great. But making public your decision to block him is a quark's width away from passive aggressive bullying. Especially so when you intimate that others have joined your merry gang of affronted blubber guts.

Have you actually followed what happened here or are you just running in and shrieking bullying? Whenever people didn't respond to Vad3r, he started constantly posting "Have I been blocked? I think I've been blocked. If you don't respond to this then I know I've been blocked" How can someone be privately blocked when he was constantly challenging people on thread when they didn't respond to him? He's not being bullied, he's being treated like a troll. And does anyone who has read any of his posts actually believe he gives a shit about being blocked? He's just turned it into another posting obsession. "I miss my friends" has become another "I wanna be mod", "I'm a single virgin", etc.
