Hi

I've just subscribedto the iPad edition and can't download the current issue, do I have to wait until the next issue is released before my subscription starts?

Hi Andy,

I don't think so. It should work with the current issue. If it's misbehaving try uninstalling the app and reinstalling. That seems to solve most issues.

Hi James.

I've already installed the app several times but I still can't download the current issue, the only option is to buy which then brings up a box asking me to pay �3.99.

I'd appreciate any other suggestions you have, as it is frustrating not being able to read the current issue.

In my case is the same thing. No option to download the current issue. Already removed the app twice.

Same problem here, I actually opened another post in this subforum about it. Hope someone tells us soon how to fix it!

Same problem here in India. Have paid subscription a week back and the edition doesn't open.

Hi, I also have the same problem.

Update: 25th of september

Yesterday finally the download button showed up!! 5 days after subscription start and numerous remove and install of the empire app.
So a unprofessional analysis is that the bits and bytes travelling among all involved servers took a long time :-)

I have the same problem, installed and subscribed now I can't view the latest edition without it asking me to pay �3.99. I have uninstalled and reinstalled the app - please help, I don't want to have to ask for refund :(

hello everybody,

i have contacted itunes costumer service and they have'nt fixed my proble yet. we are stiill in contact. For the record, i bought the magazine for 4,99� and surprisingly, they charge you again. So be careful or you will be paying twice! On the other hand, i have posted three messages in these forums and i have mailed empire magazine and i have'nt received any answer so far. I think customer sevice should be faster. As I have the solution , i will post it. See you.

As greenbeard said careful you don't end up paying for the magazine again as I did the same thing.

The iTunes email said the start date was the 15th of sept so I'm hoping the subscription will start with this month issue.
I'll try and download it when its released and let you know.

itunes has refunded the money from anual suscription, as well as the october issue. I probably will sucribe to online edition rather than ipad version to avoid troubles. thank
