I find it hard these days to find new music. I know there are loads of good website for new music but finding the time is hard. I used to listen to the radio everyday in the car but don't use the car now so i need some introduction to new music.

Artists i like are varied but i was a huge fan of "Brit Pop" in the 90s, including things like Oasis, Blur, Pulp, Suede, Manics, Radiohead, The Verve.

Recently enjoy things like The Killers, The Enemy, Coldplay, Snow Patrol, Editors, Muse.

Also enjoy The Beatles, Queen, Beach Boys, REM, U2, Nirvana, Metallica, Green Day, Pearl Jam.

Please recommend me some new music.

All I can think of is The Gaslight Anthem at the moment.

And when you openly admit you're a Snow Patrol, Rhub's post definitely applies.

Just go to the 'what are you listening to' thread.
Suffice to say people here have a really good musical taste...unlike that other place

If you like Britpop, you might like the Czech band Charlie Straight.

Best two new bands working at the moment IMO....

If you like The Gaslight Anthem check out Chuck Ragan's Covering Ground. I'd also nominate Mark Lanegan's Blues Funeral as a must have album. If you like any of these then by all means check out the others listed below.

Ryan Adams - Ashes & Fire
Alabama Shakes - Boys & Girls
Deer Tick - War Elephant
Anything & i mean anything by The Black Keys

Properly brilliant.
