The bbc seems to be on a bit of a hot run at the moment. there has been the brilliant jimmy mcgovern scribed 'the accused' and now 'good cop' on a thursday night.
this is a brilliant piece of drama that starts dark and is getting darker, whatever happens it's not going to have a happy ending. there are some brilliant liverpool actors such stephen graham, mark womack and the ever improving warren brown. highly recommend it.

I did mean to catch it but the date slipped me by, although the DVD does look like it's being released almost immediately the series finishes

Saw the first episode - a lot different to what I was expecting - the good kind.

More a character study than an action fest and all the better for it.

Going to catch up with episode two tomorrow.

Really decent cop drama. Am hoping that the writing provides some unexpected twists and turns by the final episode...

Gutted. Thought the first 3 were excellent & was really looking forward to last one tonight.

Knowing the BBC's history of postponing (as opposed to rescheduling), it'll probably be on very late at night in about six months time and it will not be advertised.

Good final episode, but it finishes with loose ends on every single storyline. There HAS to be another series. Please BBC. Does anyone know what the status is of a series 2?
