We have another exciting art competition for you, ladies and gentlemen. We have five Blu ray copies of the latest Aardman animation, The Pirates! In An Adventure With Scientists, and five very limited-edition, signed prints (only 50 have been made) of a sketch by director Peter Lord to give away, and to be in with a chance of winning we'd like you to post your Aardman-inspired sketches. So get your thinking caps on and draw anything you like that's connected to Aardman, whether that's cheese, chickens or ham-loving  pirates!

 

We'll keep this competition open for two weeks to give you a chance to post everything, and then pick a winner. If you can't wait that long, The Pirates! In An Adventure With Scientists is out on Blu-ray™ 3D, Blu-ray™, DVD and Digital Download on September 10.

 This isn't really my entry as such, I'm posting on behalf of my 4 year old son Joshua. Big fan of Pirates, fancies himself as a Pirate Captain. I added a background and a few bits, so I guess it's partly a father/son type entry. Cheers!

This relates to my favourite theme from the Pirates! film. My second favourite theme was beards, but I do like ham.

I would never discourage a childs drawings, especially when ive been helping out for years on young people and animation. Over on a certain website :).
