 I've so much catching up to do before I reach 76329 posts. Just calculated that if I posted 20 times a day, every day for the next ten years I still wouldn't reach that. My optimism hasn't faded I'll make every post count.

It may not influence whether you ascend to modship or not, but Gimli's post count is a thing of wonder. Sometimes you just have to stand back and realise you are witnessing something unique, a record that will never be broken. Gimli's post count is like Dixie Dean's 60 league goals, Wilt Chamberlain's 100 points, Brett Favre's 71,838 yards, Wayne Gretzky's 2,857 points. Marvel at it.
