Boss, my goal as a mod is to be as good as you are someday. I know the other mods and forumites will support me to reach that goal. You are also a respectful and beautiful woman on the inside and out.

I think 19953.

That then leaves 19954.

It's easy. You leave the boards of your own free will and do not return until a mod contacts you.....this self imposed exile shows your are ready for the next step. Go on, try it....

I tried that back in 2011 when I was away from the forum for most of the year. I have since learnt the error of my ways.

I didn't post in this forum for the majority of last year. In fact, I only returned because I received a PM from a forumite asking where I was. It moved me so much that I made my triumphant return. 100% honest to God true story and if a mod allows me I'm willing to copy and paste it here.

I think it would be up to the forum member who PM'd you, don't you think? Did you still read the forum in your absence from posting?

Don't want to get into trouble, so won't reveal any more unless a mod gives me permission.

We have no right to - in terms of privacy it's down to the person who sent the PM.

Knowing the forumite, I think he/she would be fine with it but I don't want to breach any rules by doing so. I read the forum very scarcely, just to pick up info from DVD Discussion and Small Screen.

Then ask them. There are no rules about posting PMs other than respecting privacy - and if the sender and you are happy to say who it is, that'd be just fine. It's not like the PM even needs posted.

Yeah, best not to, especially if they are not here to give permission (that's just an assumption, I have no clue who it is).

Boss, if I copy and pasted the PM but removed their name, would I get into trouble for that? Is revealing their name just frowned upon or is it a breach of the forum rules and guidelines?

Yes, I was unfortunately on a self-imposed posting exile for the vast majority of last year (my post logs can confirm this). Never again.
