 This might not work, but here goes...

Me and my lovely Australian ladyfriend Jessica are getting married (woo!) but here's the kicker, on top of the marriage fees we have to pay (about £300 - manageable) there's this big fat smouldering pile of Partnership Visa - £826! Who knew, right? So, a short while ago I entered this percussion competition, the prize of which was 3000 euros - I was doing OK, but then the votes got reset due to cheating, so now I'm languishing in 20th place.Before, it was just about winning, but now there's another more important reason. I'm not quite sure what 3000 euros is in pounds, but it's certainly enough to pay for the wedding.

 the wedding won't be too spectacular, it's in a registry office thing, but the party afterwards will be excellent. If you're in London on october 13th, of course you're more than welcome to come and get messed up with us!

 14th place now :) thanks so much you lovely people... still a long way off winning though - first place has around 700 votes :( still every vote counts, even if i make the top ten I get a new cajon, which i could sell to put towards it... thanks again peeps...

 Thanks so much guys! I'm in 12th place, got 84 :)) the voting app is deffo a bit dodgy, people have said its unintuitive, slow blah blah.. i'd much rather this competition had judges instead of votes, much fairer that way and no stupid page to like on facebook... that's probably all this competitions about really, getting likes on the page... but not to me!!
