I'm a bit confused by this. Normally this kind of thing is historian led, or takes a viewpoint on history But it's comes across like one of those easy reading history books for toddlers with the big stories, undermined by the likes of Russell bloody Brand on British history. And Lily Cole.

I'm fairly disgusted, given that, it's being offered as a teaching aid. Seems very dumbed down.
