Between the Batpod teararsing through a crowded shopping mall in The Dark Knight and all those cop cars chasing The Batman in The Dark Knight Rises (and I mean ALL those cop cars!) I reckon The Blues Brothers must be another Christopher Nolan favourite - he's the right age. They were all shot in Chicago, in the exact same locations in some cases. Especially during the car chases. Although they do look very different in the daytime. Check out the Blues Mobile being chased down the same off ramp that had the burning fire engine beside it in The Dark Knight!
