Michael Bay recent track record can only be called shitfest. He's a good director when it comes to chase scenes, explosions and gun battles, but everything else is shoddy. While his formula for the first motion picture Transformers in many people eyes was a success, however the repeated use in the sequels showed us it was a lucky fluke. Optimus Prime can kill enemeis in seconds if he meant to win the fight but get the shit kicked out of him for five minutes if he meant to lose. Then we have the human characters and the awful comic relief.
Sadly Michael Bay is using his Transformers formula for his new Turtles and like the Transformers, annoying human characters dominate while the title characters has little screentime AGAIN. The script has been leaked and elements can be read here.

Wasn't this delayed anyway?

I hope the script is rewritten and it does get made, but only to see how good the Turtles look via ILM.

I haven't been following this but the film should had gone into production. Look like the script is being rewritten.

Lifelong fan of the Eastman & Laird books and the first cartoon to an extent, TMNT was wonderful.

Anyway, I can't tell which was worse, the script or the script review.

I think he did a great job onthe Transformers movies, as such Im looking forward to a Bay Turtles movie
