I like Predator 2. I like Danny Glover in Predator 2. What I don't like is whoever decided that he looked cool in this costume.

He is dressed like an old man with tweet trousers up to his waist.

What are some of your favourite film fashion faux pas?

Connery'sh little blue towling shwimshuit in Goldfinger takes some beating. As do Roger Moore's flares and safari suits when he had a licence to kill...

Can't find a picture of it on the net but there's a jumper that Dennis Farina wears in Midnight Run which is absolutely hideous.

Love the flick and Farina, but holy cats I hope they burned that fucking thing.

Johnny Depp in Nightmare On Elm Street. Second scariest thing in the film.

John Hughes apparently had bad taste in clothes

Or was it just the 80s?

The top isn't very nice, though.

I love how futuristic films made in the 80's often portrayed the future as looking just like the 80's, just with bigger guns and cars made of 45 degree angles

Can I add the entire costume department of The Fifth Element?! And yes, the 80s had mostly horrendous fashion.

Sly Stallone's 80s-tastic, Kids-From-Fame training montage outfit in Rocky III is a classic. Though it pales into insignificance next to Carl Weathers' not-camp-in-the-slightest, dinky little crop top!

Bill and Ted also regularly dressed like what could only be described as "an Australian's nightmare"!

And The Dark Knight Trilogy has a guy strolling around in a black rubber gimp suit and no-one ever comments on it...

Sly deserved to get his collar felt by the fashion police for his Versace gold codpiece in Judge Dredd.

(A cod piece? Ye could get a whole fish supper in there, etc!)

Neither of them are nowhere near as bad as the monstrosity that Andie wears to prom. It's foul, it's awful, it's just dire.

And she destroys two relatively decent dresses to make that hideous thing!

I really like Ringwald's outfit in this. Her shoes are lush, and she pulls of the rest of it.

I included Duckie as his outfits are consistently awful throughout the film. And I actually forgot about te prom dress, my brain must have blocked that monstrosity out

I really don't like the top she wears in The Breakfast Club. Plus, my inclusion of that photo was basically just a 'the 80's, huh?' moment.
