Now a re-boot of the Magnificent Seven is a go,who would you like to see in the roles opposite Tom Cruise. Here are my suggestions for a dream cast-
Obviously Cruise as Yul Brynner
Ryan Gosling as Mcqueen
Kevin Spacey as Vaughn
Billy Bob Thornton as Dexter
Edward Norton as Coburn
Javier Bardem as Bronson
Struggling a little with Bucholz maybe David Krumholtz
Possibly Benecio Del Toro as Wallach
what do you think?

Well, he has been cast as the lead, so I assume that is what the OP meant by 'obviously'.

I'd remake it in Japan and change the cowboys for samurai. It'll be fantastic.

Why not have it updated for contemporary times, and make the protagonists highly skilled mercenaries. They would be played by the biggest bad-ass action heroes ever, and there will be heaps of action, blood and gore.

Nah, I don't think it would ever happen.....
