kinda surprised no one else has started a thread for this already. or did everyone else get fed up waiting for Living to show it and watched it elsewhere?

anyway really good 1st ep - loved seeing Cass as a bad ass can't believe quite how evil he turned though. but i suspect a lot was the influence of the leviathans.

some great imagery - loved the early scene with Cass in the field surrounded by all the angels he'd killed.

should be interesting to see where Sams storyline goes now the wall in his head is broken , with all the hallucinations. loved the Lucifer vision messing with his head trying to convince Sam he never really ecaped and he's really still trapped in hell.

I love Supernatural. I always have. But the first two episodes of Season Seven have seriously lacked something. I haven't really enjoyed them at all. Sam is really starting to get on my nerves....

The first two episodes have been poor to say the least but hopefully normal service is resumed sooner rather than later. Is there any explanation as to why it's only being broadcast now?

I've actually thought these first two episodes have been great. Like really great.

The Lucifer stuff has been brilliant, and there's a real sesne of urgency to the whole thing.

Really glad to have it back, but seriously. it needs to move back to ITV2. Sky Living have treated it terribly.

I'm beginning to wonder if that is actually Lucifer or just a hallucination?

Pretty much.

11 months after the US air date. Ridiculous. ITV2 weren't 'the week after' but they were never that bad.

It's just over nine months since I first started watching Supernatural for the first time and I have now seen every single episode that has aired on US TV.......

I've waited so long for this season to arrive that when I watched the first episode (despite the recap at the start) i'd actually forgotten most of S6 plot threads. I looked at importing the Complete S7 DVD on R1 but it would appear that it's not out until November when we'll have already seen most of this season anyway. Plus Season 8 starts in the US next month. I agree though, it has taken WAY too long for S7 to hit our screens!

Not really enjoying Season 7 if I'm honest. I can't put my finger on it but it might be because there's no Cas, hardly any Bobby and there certainly doesn't seem to be as much humour as there has been. Either that or I'm just not finding the intended jokes funny anymore....

Plus Living are doubling up from next week with back to back episodes so be aware just incase your recorder misses it....

I quite liked the most recent episode; good gore quotient, pretty funny but hated that they just left them alive at the end.

I hated that as well. Especially considering Deans actions from a few weeks back. What happened to 'they always kill again' Dean?!

The shit is gonna hit the fan when Sam finds out the truth. I think it's quite sad that Dean doesn't entirely trust Sam, well that's how I read it anyway. The Leviathan plot should be pretty good though, I'm looking forward to seeing how that shapes the season.

It's out on DVD in November, so I'm guessing that's why we're getting double-bills from next week. Supernatural should really go back to ITV2.

To be fair Sam and Dean tried to off both of them and failed. Sam and Dean help solve their issues but don't kill them. Then he came back to save their lives. Them sticking around to try again would be quite stupid I'd say. I get your point but I reckon they will probably feature again. They weren't run of the mill witches or actors so I'm hoping they feature again.

Oh and FINALLY I can post my thoughts on the show! Started watching probably a year ago as a few mates at work always went on about it and threw the discs my way. I've enjoyed the journey ... though there are definitely many Supernaturals cliches that annoy me .... or like the show just grow on you.

The strongest seasons are 1-5. 6 wasn't as bad as I had heard but the end of 5 did seem to be a more natural conclusion to the show and well where the creators planned it would leave off. 6 had to pick up well from the apocalypse and I quite liked some of the events and plots that took place but it definitely messed up in a few areas and felt unbalanced. 7 seems to be far more of a reboot. They've gone back to hunting and although they have the Leviathans they've not had to deal with the issues in heaven or hell.

yeah they did try to kill them but they were pretty powerful witches. And its a good job they didn't kill them so he could save them from the Leviathan.

....... Really liked this weeks ep - mostly beacuse of the witch couple played by James Marsters & Charisma Carpenter - loved seeing those 2 again - they made a great pairing. some nice gruesome gory deaths too - loved the beheading scene !! - so sudden.

Good news on them doubling up the episodes - maybe they''ll start showing season 8 earlier

Seems like Living's trying to get through the season as quick as possible by doubling up episodes.
Hopefully this means they're going going to be showing the next season sooner?

Only caught the first episode of last night's double but it was a great one, until the last 2 minutes.

Ugh, Sam walks out on Dean...again.

yeah but you know they'll be back together soon enough.

good last 2 eps - with the first with the leviathans becoming the brothers - the better of the 2. the other very much a monster of the week - with the finding & salting of the ghosts bones.

I'd heard this season was poor but man....I wasn't expecting it to be this dissapointing. It's not shit but compared to even last season this is quite poor.

As for Bobby, all I could manage during last nights episode was boredom. I'll give it a few epsiodes and he'll be back. WAY melodramatic and cliche regarding his past, I actually laughed a few times. Seems pointless "killing" him off.

Unless the last 10 episodes are fantastic this will really be quite a let down and low point for the show as far as seasons go.

I love Dean but he's really pissing me off this year. Get over yourself dude. He's turning into a right grumpy fucker. I don't mind a mini angst arc but this looks to be lasting all season.

For some reason my sky box never recorded the 2nd episode on Wednesday night for some reason.

Thankfully a repeat of it is on late Sunday night.

Neither did mine, jediwarrior. Weird.

Enjoyed the Bobby episode though; made me tear up actually, which Supernatural hasn't done in a long long time, if ever.

SPOILERS

The passing of Bobby ... well the last two episodes have been some of the better ones. I've always admired Supernatural in being bold enough to get rid of some important characters. But the trouble is when you over do that you lose what made the show great. The guy who seems to be Bobby's replacement isn't a patch on him. Bobby's one the of best thing's about the show! With Cass already gone too and Bobbys partner (didn't he die in Season 6? That was uneventful) the supporting cast is thin.

Remember when Sam and Dean made that big who ha about who drunk that random beer? Anyone think Bobbys a friendly ghost?

very likely as you saw the reaper give Bobby the choice of staying or going and you never know which he chose. you could imagine he chose to stay and not leave the brothers.

great episode focusing on Bobby - very sad at the end .

Really disappointed in this season so far. It's been lacklustre at best. I really hope it picks up its game and soon....

Another two boring episodes. Starting to lose my passion for Supernatural. The latest episode reminded me of the good old days of demon hunting, things were so simple (and better) back then before Sam became a whiney Lucifer bitch and Dean became Mr Grumpy drunk.....

I quite liked these most recent two. The clown one felt very early Supernatural, especially with Dean laughing at Sam covered in glitter.

The second was fine. Nothing special, moster-of-the-week-y, but I loved Lucifer's return.

the first was a bit daft being another of the comedy eps , but still had some very funny parts esp the ending with sam covered in glitter.

the 2 nd was ok with lucifer appearing again making it better.
