Jack.

He seems like a good laugh.

Good choice.

I'd befriend Dickie Greenleaf (The Talented Mr Ripley) for a couple of reasons.

1) Look at him. (that may be the main reason)
2) He seems quite sweet under the whole spoiled rich kid thing.
3) He lives abroad and probably throws amazing parties, so I'd get to travel alot and go to that awesome jazz club they go to.

Doc Holliday 'Tombstone'

- Great sense of humour
- Good for card-playing on a rainy day
- Can handle his drink
- He'd always be there (even when the rest of your friends have deserted you)
- He'd go all out and kill anyone trying to kill his best mates

Sounds ideal.

Will have to have a think about an actually character but one think I have notice about Emily Blunt in her recent performances is how likeable and normal she plays her part, taking aside the fact I am single and striaght male and would love to date someone like her she just comes off as the perfect best friend too.

I'd have everything.

Including a machete lodged in your cranium.

Assuming he was my best friend (which this thread implies), I'd be able to control him and get him to do whatever I want. Having an indestructible killing machine as your puppet is a useful tool in life.

The only " friend" i can imagine being worse than him is THIS guy!

Would probably end up in jail, but could you imagine night's out?

But on a serious note, I think Elizabeth Bennett would be a great friend

In reality Andy from The 40 year Old Virgin.

He seems loyal, pleasant, trustworthy and a pleasant bloke to hang out with.
