Well it was a while ago I went now. In fact it's 10 years since I started!

But I always liked the Gulbenkian. They showed lots of big films at really cheap prices although they were always slightly delayed from theatrical release. I also had my lectures there so despite the seats being uncomfortable, you can still sleep in them.

Guys, I wanted to ask, is it possible to nominate something that can be easily accessed through youtube in case R2 is not available? In this case, if I pick it, a film distributed by mosfilm where the viewing of it on youtube is perfectly legal.

Well, the film I've put forward is only available on YouTube, so it shouldn't be a problem as long as it doesn't get taken down.

It shouldn't, mosfilm themselves put it there.

I think it's only the possibility of a back-up that's an issue with youtube - but that would be fine with an officially sanctioned channel.

I meant to post that in the other thread.

Gim', I'm begging, pick something better than you did this round. The complete works of Meryl Streep, maybe?

In that case, 11 to go

Rest assured, I'm not going for a "Gimli only" film this time.

Crap. I still need to pick a film.

*browses dvd shelf*

Can I wait to see how Van Helsing does and see if strategic voting really will alllow a film everyone hates into the second round?

Because you're a long-termer you don't need to pick just yet. As long as you have a film and a blurb to us in time for the next round. The short-termers need to get theirs in so we can allow for clashes and actually draw the names.

Your name was put in for the draw anyway. Just waiting to hear back from TRM and Reb and we can sort it all out. I think there's 8 people going for 6 slots.
