As the good doctor would say "Its hard work sometimes being a Sandra Bullock fan" But here are five choices which make it easier

1. Crash (2004) 8/10
2. Speed 8/10
3. Murder By Numbers 8/10
4. Infamous 8/10
5. Miss Congeniality 7/10 (hey its a guilty pleasure and shes really good in it)

Just missing out would be Demolition Man.

While You Were Sleeping
A Time to Kill
Speed

None of her other films get more than 2.5/5

I used to be a big fan of Bullock. She is a very likable charismatic presence rather than being a truly great actress but I think she is a pretty decent one.

1. Speed
2. Crash
3. Demolition Man
4. The Lake House
5. The Proposal

Would be my fave 5 films of hers. In terms of performances however:

1. Speed
2. Crash
3. The Lake House
4. 28 Days
5. Demolition Man

While You Were Sleeping Its probably one of my biggest guilty pleasures.

Other than that? Nada. I like Infamous despite it being a mess and Daniel Craigs eyebrows and I am curious about Gravity.

It's a great modern romantic comedy. As much as I like her though, she has a habit of picking terrible scripts. Especially dramatic ones like Crash and The Blind Side.

Agree with most of that post apart from the bit about Crash and besides she is very good in it.

Her and Brendan Fraser are probably the worst parts of that film.

Whats in Love and War don't think I have heard of that one? Yeah se is one of the better things in A Time to Kill. No one else for Murder by the Numbers really thought as a more serous Bullock project it would be a stand out?

In Love And War [1996] is a romance starring Chris O' Donnell as the young Ernest Hemingway. It seems to be generally regarded as schmaltzy rubbish but I think it's rather sweet and touching.

While you were sleeping
Miss congeniality
Demolition man

It's really hard to come up with a top five, isn't it. Such a shame for such a good actress.

I think she has been in more good stuff than most reliase it is just that it gets overlooked because of her being pigion holed in the romcom stuff.

I'm not much of a fan of Bullock, but she comes across really well in interviews and the likes and you have to hand it to her for her game reaction to the Razzies.

Of what I have seen of her work:

The Vanishing - 6/10
Demolition Man - 4/10
Speed - 7/10
The Net - 4/10
While You Were Sleeping - 5/10
A Time to Kill - 6/10
The Prince of Egypt - 5/10
Miss Congeniality - 4/10
Two Weeks Notice - 3/10
Crash - 8/10
Premonition - 2/10
The Blind Side - 7/10

pretty shoddy, Blind Side and Crash are easily her best performances, I think she's extremely limited as a comedy actress, she plays the same role constantly and when she is in bad 'serious' movies she's extremely vapid.

Don't agree at all she is very good in the likes of Crash, Infamous and Murder by Numbers, but at the same time that she can carry stuff like WYWS and Demolition Man with good comedy shows how skilled she is.

She's a charismatic/talented actress, the only problem is she chooses shit films.

On the whole I agree but part of her charm is how she makes some of those films all the more watchable, sign of a good actress that.
