ORIGINAL: LEEJGM No way. Bale's not going to get burned again. Salvation was utter, utter shit and Bale's involvement was one of the main reasons. if Cameron gets involved somehow (producer? script?) or it gets an A level SF director (R Scott would be ideal but unlikely due to BR2/P2, but theres new guys like the District 9 guy, Duncan Jones etc) then Bale would probably want to be involved in T5....if its anyone else (McG, Fast and Furious guy, Ratner, or any other guys like that) then probably not... That would be assuming it continues on T4 and doesn’t veer into alternate timeline reboot territory like Star Trek with a new cast (which is probably what will happen as i cant see any studio wanting to do a proper full on sequel to T4 with Bale, Yelchin, Ron Howards daughter etc…although saying that if Bale wanted in I doubt anyone would say no) Maybe if Looper is a big BO success (it already seems to be critical hit) it will help spur on T5 with maybe more focus on the paradoxes/loopiness aspect of the series, which might attract a decent director, and maybe Bale will want in again
