Reboot this mutha! I dont want to see the old cast, I love the first movie, should of left it as that.

As much as id like to see Adam Sandler in a Ghostbusters movie, im gonna say no because his last 10 movies sucked ass

My cast:
Ryan Reynolds -Venkman
Jonah hill -Ray  (Kinda too young for rest of this cast, but just like him in the Role) jack Black?!
Jason Biggs -Egon
Donald Faison - Winston
Elizabeth Banks - Dana

Make all the new Ghostbusters women. Why? Well, why make a sequel if you've got no new ideas and you're just remaking the original. I adore the original in this case, so they better not squander it...

I instantly hated this idea but upon giving it some thought I realised that it really could work. With a female crew it would avoid ultimately bad comparisons with the 80's film and give it a fresher feel.

No idea who plays who but my cast would be:

Tina Fey
Kristen Wiig
Emily Blunt
Salma Hayek
Anne Hatheway

Lets face it when a film states that they are handing it over to a new generation we can expect as big a colossul fail as Harrison 'Indie' Ford deciding its a good idea to work alongside Shia LeBeouf and destroying a franchise.

New generation? I'm guessing Dan Akroyd starring in the beginning of the film as he talks to Chris Rock, Adam Sandler, Kevin James about busting Ghosts. As the scene finishes so does the populations interest in the franchise as they then proceed to destroy all happy memories from my childhood and replace them with jokes orientating around sexuality, flatuence and the fact Chris is black!

Stop ruining our childhoods, nostaglia is a good thing - we enjoy looking back FONDLY on our memories and sometimes dream of future films but lets face it none of us want them to actually be released due to them being all terrible.

Well hopefully Murray will change his mind at the last minute and join in. His character is the best out of the bunch and it just wouldn't be the same without him!

Im so glad when i scroll down- everybodys on the same level...
Murray is a must!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I dont know why he thinks it wont have mass appeal...
Maybe it wont??? but i know for sure it would be a cult HIT plus,
Why not create a throwback??
Old men?? He sounds like hes in a bit of a pessimistic place (maybe hes always been there)...im 26 and hes one of my all time fav actors

I would love to see a alternative type script, where the ghostbusters are washed up... maybe create some kind of story revolving around the total die out of supernatural phenomenon? ...
Then shit hits the fan in a big way - classic winner, i know its cliche but it'd have me with a smile on my face....

The old team back together saving the day

Fk that idea of a new crew, younger audience orientated... like i said im 26 and i'd hate that, meh maybe its just me being loyal to my childhood but hey, each to their own i guess

- i registered an account just to say this, hopefully somebody sees this and agrees
peace all

If they get a new younger bunch to take on the mantle from the old bunch, this is who I think could work

Obviously the characters don't have to be exact copies of the original film characters, nor do you have to have a black character to replace 'Zeddmore'. Just redoing the characters exactly the same looks/personality wise would be pretty lame. But I have sorta divided them into what type of person they would be, but that's just how I see them in their roles.

1. Luke Wilson: ladies man/charmer

2. Seth Rogen: tubby 'Ray Stantz-like' one

3. Michael Cera: soft spoken/wimpy/scared one

4. Ken Jeong: brainy/gadget one

I do think the cast would need to be smaller names rather than huge stars, but known stars of course. Off the wall type guys mixed with a sense of black humour and decent sarcasm.
