Wait, it was Impqueen that nommed that for HoF. Second time I've made that mistake this year. Stop liking films that Reb and Impqueen like, rawls.

Ah, yeah great film. It's Impy' who's the really huge fan/HoF nominator though. I went all excited and hoping to see Maddin or The Devil in Miss Jones.

I was happy to see that The Apartment wasn't too far outside the top 100.

THat's when I realised the whole thing was fake - like those football draws that always accidentally put the greatest rivals together. It was a fiddle from Hall fans trying to pretend it could aspire to greatness.

Not to mention Jules et Jim pretending it could match Ikiru

Here comes the Bresson parade...seriously did all his films just get a place in the top 250?!

And where's Naruse? 1 in the top 250 (a good choice with Floating Clouds none-the-less) and only 1 person voted for The Sound of the Mountain 49 voted for Balthasar! 24 voted for Pickpocket! 23 for A Man Escaped! 12! FUDGIN' 12!! for that atrocity The Devil, Probably!! yet only 1 for Sound of the Mountain! Repast isn't even mentioned. How do you sleep at night knowing your top 10 contains The Devil, Probably?

Conspiracy

Clearly the people who make these lists are a bunch of nutless hipster prannies.

Directors list is out. Hour of the Wolf/Le Mepris/Stalker/Barry Lyndon/Fanny and Alexander haters eat your hearts out.
