A band I've recently gotten into thanks to John Fogerty's numerous appearances with Bruce Springsteen. I've just bought a comprehensive Best Of CD and I'm really impressed with what I've heard so far. Fogerty is a brilliant rhythmic guitarist and knows a killer tune when he's got one. Awesome blend of southern rock 'n' roll and blues.

Fuckin' love Creedence.

A mate got me into them a couple of years back. It's strange, they are one of those bands that was pretty big, but you could go your whole life now never hearing them. Yet, when you do, you wonder why they aren't still all over the radio (Radio 2 at least!), class.

Who covered it?

This is the album I bought. Fantastic compilation.

If you liked it it might be worth trying some of their original albums or some tracks that don't appear on this. At least check out the long version of Grapevine, it's about 8 minutes longer than the version here.
