It has been edited together as a full length feature and I think Hertzfeldt has been screening it as such over the past few months. The dvd has all three separate shorts or an option to watch the feature version. I recommend you check it out on a big screen if you can. I know you're not Hertzfeldt's biggest fan but It's Such a Beautiful Day is very impressive compared to his earlier work. It relies more on narrative storytelling rather than the random surreal humour of his old films which I know you love so much.

I misread the brochure.

I was thinking of going but the timing is a problem - it's a massively busy time at work and I don't have a lot of free time.

That said, I did pick up about 70 cinema tickets yesterday

Ok, you people with access to good cinemas will have to stop teasing the rest of us with the films you get to see. First you see Spirit of the Beehive, you have a chance to see the new Hertzfeldt and didn't you mention recently that Sansho the Bailiff was being shown in cinema near to you? It's not fair that the rest of us lowly peasants are stuck in multiplex hell.

I travelled to the other end of the country for Sansho! (Well, to Leeds, which is 'doon south' so that's close enough).

Last year I went to 4 city festivals, making 2 of them kind of holidays as well because we don't normally take them. So we saw North by Northwest/39 Steps/Chimes at Midnight in Cambridge, Sansho the Bailiff in Leeds and lots and lots and lots in Glasgow.

So I probably shouldn't mention Passion of Joan of Arc in Glasgow Cathedral with live music? ......

List of 250 sent. I deleted the shortlist I was working from and as I was ordering the final list I managed to delete about 50 or so of the titles and couldn't remember all of the titles or their positions. As such I'm not as happy with the final list as I should be, but if I don't send it now I never will.
