Yep, I have a list ready, just watching one last film (I gave up searching for Bakshi although I will watch some of his eventually).

Edit: Actually scratch that, I was going to watch Ghost In The Shell today but going away on holiday tomorrow will eat up most of my time List will be sent shortly, PM or email?

Yep. They're showing The Iron Giant on Filmfour over the weekend, so my list will be made after that.

Email please. Mainly because it's too easy for a list to get lost by pm.

Just to check, everyone is going to watch The Man with the Beautiful Eyes and The Man Who Planted Trees before voting, yeah? Both are on Youtube and short.

Former isn't in my list, latter will likely be.

Does absolutely nothing for me. Didn't interest me as an animation, the writing didn't impress me. Or the narration. Pretty 'meh' for me I'm afraid.

I was so impressed by The Passenger I even bought the DVD from the chap who made it (an Australia to UK shipment that took 3 days - chew on that Royal mail!)

The first film I saw based on one of your posts. Possibly still the best.

There are hundreds and hundreds I should probably see before the end of the month

Yeah but Crac is better than most of them. And I recommended it to you about five years ago.

I've owned films for twice that long and not seen them!

Why not go through and organise your films and then do a switch off? Watch the oldest film you own, followed by the one you want to see most, and then keep swapping?

I'm useless at stuff like that, I think it was 2009, I intended to go through my DVDs and watch all the blind buys, alphabetically. I got to Affliction

I kinda like having the choice. Pretty much whatever I'm in the mood for, I'll have something lying around unseen that'll fit the bill. But your plan seems like a good option.

I did, but I think it went when the 2012 thread disappeared. And I have about 200 more to see since then. I think I should stop everything and just watch films.

You should. Do a full Ghibli run-through and then vote for them all at the end of the month.

Yeah. That ain't happening.

Does the limit have to be 100? Wanting to include 73 Tom and Jerry cartoons kinda limits what else I can have

I was actually debating bumping the 1000 thread to a maximum of 250. And I have allowed that for other lists.

You genuinely want a 250 maximum?

I'm struggling to find 100, myself. I'm sure I've seen a lot of animation that I liked, but as I can't remember them, I don't want to include them just to bump the numbers up.
250 for the Top 1,000 wouldn't be a bad idea, though.

You wouldn't have to. If I did allow 250 it would be to cater more for those who do have larger lists they want to vote for. Someone else could still vote for as little as 25 if they wanted to. All it would really mean is that everyone's number one would get 250 points instead of 100 and the final list would be drawn from a wider range of films.

Yeah, I'd love a 250 list. I'd still need to whittle down by some 300 I think asking for 500 would be too much work for you
