Oh damn, I said mine'd be in by now.

Definitely by Thursday, honest.

Sunday's fine, sorry I haven't finished it yet. Actually haven't trouble getting 150 of them

Guys, sorry, some stuff has come up and I need to push the deadline back. Not going to have the time to put the list together for a few weeks. Probably end of September. It does mean more time to make any changes to your lists though. Same goes for the horror list - late September.

September? SEPTEMBER?? SEPTEMBER???

Awesome, news. I hadn't even started my lists! Well I had but a short list of 647 animations isn't all that helpful.

Yeah, sorry about the delay. It can't be helped though. I'm trying to decide the best way to do my personal lists. I can't leave them, because I won't finish them. So I might just run them off without blurbs.

PM them to me and I'll out them up. I'll only make the slightest adjustments!

Right, this kind of got forgotten about, so I just want to see if there's still interest, if so, we could set a end of January deadline.

Do you need me to resend my list?

To be honest, depending on the new deadline, I wouldn't mind revising my list. If I recall correctly I wasn't at all happy with the one I sent originally anyway.

Harry, I'll check the email and make sure the list is there, but you can adjust it as often as you like until the deadline.

Roger Rabbit is fine.

I think I'll leave it until the last couple of days in case I see anything I like to buff up my list. Was actually shocked when I came up with my list the first time around at how few animations I'd seen.

Another question, though... I have a couple of DVD's of shorts (The Animatrix and Batman: Gotham Knight). As they are all released under one banner, would they all count as one entry, or can each short be included seperately? Because I don't think Gotham Knight will make my list as a whole, but one or two of the shorts seperately, might.

I have a quick list of 20 ready to go, and a few films I want to see before the deadline handy as well. I'll probably bump them up my viewing schedule.

(I also realised I'd never seen Spirited Away in full )

Not to spite you or anything, but if Spirited Away gets in the Top 10, I'm going to change my av to a Ghibli av to celebrate

Animatrix and Gotham Knight, if the shorts had an individual release at any point they can be voted for as individuals, if they were intended as part of an anthology film then that's how they should be voted for.

And I'd be astonished if Spirited Away didn't make the top 10.

Well, the Animatrix shorts were aired separately on Channel 5 as part of their promotion for The Matrix Reloaded if I remember correctly, but they were released on DVD as an anthology collection and haven't actually been released separately.

Also, I'd be amazed if Spirited Away didn't get into the top 10 as well.

C'mon guys, I wanted to give Gimli at least a glimmer of hope

And as for Animatrix, I recall renting the anthology ages ago. I've never seen them shown separately but that's just me.

If it's any consolation, you've got additional support for Lord Of The Rings in the Top 1000 Movies poll this year.

Looking at the Wiki page for The Animatrix, I'm going to say it's ok to vote for them as individual shorts as well. It's this bit that sells it.

Four of the films were originally released on the series' official website; one (Final Flight of the Osiris) was shown in cinemas with the film Dreamcatcher.
