They need to get it back to the foul mouthed wisecracking of the first ones...all this PG 13 stuff is stifling it.

The last PG-13ed DIE HARD was a big letdown. Good action movie but not a good DIE HARD movie.

Has this started filming yet, if not by the sounds of the plot they could just get Taken, cut out that dodgy scene with the fat sheik and photoshop Bruce's head over Liam Neeson's. Add in a shot of the Kremlin - jobs a good un.
£150,000,000 saved - unless filming's finished then I'll just shut up.

A car chase that's taking 78 days to shoot? Good grief! I was wondering if car chases are really worth it these days - and this just proves that they aren't. ANY kind of chase has the same effect eg. parkour chase at the beginning of Casino Royale.

I quite enjoyed the fourth one. John Moore always comes across as a top bloke who really wants the film to be good.. most of them aren't but here's hoping he's cracked it with Die Hard 5: Die Harderererer

are the Omen and Max Payne good films? Has Fox given up on the franchise and just want to milk the series basd on it being Die Hard? Hemust be a dirctor with proven crew and cost management skills

I don't want to start ranting about the generalised question of "why more sequels" but.......

WHY!

Ok, so we know the reasons why production companies make sequels? Apart from the "Everybody is desperate to see a sequel to this mother!" its money.

So, taking the opinions of movie goers here, Who actually WANTS to see another Die Hard film? Yes, okay, so I went to watch the 4th one at the cinema, and yes it was okay, but there has to be a point where you go "Actually, that's enough now, your taking the micheal!"

The love for the first 2 were because they were good old 80's action films and they were corny and they had cool bad guys and they were a lot of fun. Vengence worked because it was still a cool fun movie and it was still about blowing sh*t up. The forth one to me went over the top, I know realism is never expected with a Die Hard movie but fighting Jet Fighters pushes the limit for me.

I am not interested in a 5th film and I am getting a little fed up with movie companies using my love and nostalgia for old films to force me (well, trick me :) ) to go and watch the new ones!
