Anyone try the demo?

Giving serious consideration to picking it up. If it has decent net code that is. The presentation isn't on a par with Fifa obviously but the actual footy plays pretty good.

First PES I've tried and enjoyed since 2007.

It's alright, it's catching up but I still think FIFA is alot smoother and not as robotic although the passing animations are good. Plus the players faces don't look like they are melting in FIFA...

I've always preferred Pro Evo over FIFA but haven't bought one for years. Probably won't bother with this either.

Pro Evo hasn't been Pro Evo for years though...that's why we all jumped ship with FIFA 09. The demo is okay...certainly a huge improvement on previous efforts. I just can't see it being better than FIFA ever again.

Think I'm going to give the next Fifa a miss so I'm ready for a decent Pro. Won't be buying for the sake of buying though.

I was thinking of giving it a miss too, and I've just had a bit of a rant about FIFA 12 in the FIFA thread, but I know I'll end up getting it!

Picked this up a couple of weeks ago, Master League is pretty good and the match engine is quality so I'm set for the season. I'd had enough of FIFA.

I thought FIFA had basically taken on the best elements of the Pro Evo series and was now the best footy game?

I've always been Pro Evo and am really impressed with the new one.

I have to concede that after playing on the new FIFA that the presentation and particularly commentary on PES is light years behind FIFA. However, the gameplay I find superior on PES, FIFA just felt clunky. That being said, I've never been a fan since its very first incarnation I had on the SNES.

Pes2013 is a great game.
The gameplay is a joy at times but certain elements of its features need updating such as the ML.
But without a doubt the best Pes on the new gen.
