I wasn't quite sure. But the reviews seemed to suggest the main stories weren't in those 3 volumes,  but I ended up getting one and a couple of the Fontanas.

I was reading the review of one of the Wagner's and it appears that I must have read one of his as it's in the same collection as The Mist. I don't remember it though. DId you shove them all in hand luggage?

I left them at home. Have to wait to read them. Are you thinking of Dark Forces, by any chance? Where the Summer Ends is in that with The Mist. Dennis Etchison's The Late Shift, T.E.D. Klein's Children of the Kingdom are also in it. It's one of the landmark horror collections of its era.

And the main Aickman are definitely in those collections. If you get Cold Hand in Mine, Unsettled Dust and Wine Dark Sea then you get most of the classics.

I tossed a coin and got Unsettled Dust. The Fabers have got Inner Room and I can't remember the other one. Visiting Stars?

And yes - the reviews mentions he had a story in Dark Forces along The Mist. And the only one I really remember from the collection is The Mist I'm afraid.

Have you been following the Fangoria audio plays over the last few months? The Dreadtime Stories ones? They did Etchison's The Late Shift as the first in that series. Great story.

I've been too busy to look around too much - I've been really listening to iplayer and looking to see what audiogo has to keep me occupied when I'm working.

Audiogo actually stock them. They're a mixed bunch, but worth a listen.
