they'd see that this is a totally nuts thing to do. or if they had a heart they'd leave the faultless original alone. or if they had an ounce of courage they'd do something new... But no. No, they have to keep on nicking ideas from absolute classics and in all probability butchering them. I like lots of the people in it and I'm sure Raimi is really hoping to show grumpy gits like me that he's trying to do something great (and powerful) with this. And let me guess, it's not gonna be a musical is it? So, let's just end with this thought: Really, Sam Raimi is the guy behind the curtain then. He's gonna be pulling all those levers, twiddlin' all those dials and doin' all the stuff he possibly can to make us believe in him - as Oz. To make us believe what we see. That's a lot of power. And what comes with power? Yep. Responsibility.
