Darn it.

I'm glad The Long Goodbye and Roger Rabbit made it, although I'm really gutted to see Kiss Kiss, Bang Bang out already.

Feel free to use my first round votes.

I'm kind of sad to see my own nom gone, but having said that, those are all pretty great movies.

The Long Goodbye sticks out there for me. The rest are all deserving. Shame to see The Killing go, though.

Keep my ordering from round one.

So this is what it feels like to have your nominated film actually get into the second round. Feels good.

And I sent my votes.

Do you not like The Long Goodbye? I can kind of see why, but I think it is an absolutely brilliant film that completely hooks me. I'm still torn between it and Murder, My Sweet for the win. (though still deeply upset that we didn't see any Melville's nominated).

I have been reliably informed that Cutter's Way was just one point short of making the second round. I'd be more upset, but at least I know it beat Homer's film. And my votes are in.

I must say, it wasn't easy separating any of them. The difference in quality between most of them was hair splitting.

I'm happy with my ordering to stay the same on this one too, although it's tempting to try and second guess (aka cheat )

What normally happened when it's a tie in the public vote?

They get the same amount of points, so this round would go.

Blue Velvet - 10
Roger Rabbit - 10
Nothing gets 8 points
Double Indemnity - 6
Long Goodbye - 4
Touch of Evil and Murder would then both get 2 points

Ah, you see, I thought only the winner was awarded a set rate equating to an extra vote.
