Christ's sake, either reboot totally and weather the (now obligatory) storm of fan-rage or write a story that capitalises on the age of the GB's and ISN'T a passing of the torch movie. such ideas ALWAYS TURN OUT TO BE SHIT because they can't satisfy either the long term fans willing to spend a bit more time with beloved characters or the new fans they're hoping to attract, who might not have the nostalgia factor the film would hope to raise from the almost dead. Indy 4 would have been more focused without Shia and instead making story capital out of the things Indy can no longer do, for instance. The point of a continuation is to continue with the characters and see where they're at, what time has done to them, how they cope with situations they used to cope with easily. Do that, or Reboot as a whole new franchise. They can get in as many scriptwriters as they like. Without a strong enough central idea to start with, they're screwed. And the passing the torch idea automatically means they have something the story needs to do besides tell the actual story of the plot/dilemma/scheme of the bad guy versus the hapless heroes. The conflict in Ghostbusters should be the GBs versus ghosts, not GBs versus storytelling logic.
