Free to play PC game inspired the urban legend Slender Man on the reddit forums. Really creepy game, the set up being FPS view in the woods, only weapon is a torch, and you have 8 notes to collect relating to the slenderman, the more you collect the more you start to see him, if he looks at you for too long, you die.

If any of you like horror games id highly recommend it. (ive got a link for the dl too, if anyone wants it pm me and ill send it over tonight)

 I saw a clip of this at the weekend, it looked pretty decent for a F2P game: reminded me of the HL2 mod Korsakovia.

Can anyone download it or is it currently in a Beta mode whereby a certain amount of keys are handed out? Just wondering why you just didn't put up the dl link!

pretty sure its free for all. Ill post it later (im in work at the mo) , wasn't sure if posting of links to games was allowed?

Alternatively go to Eurogamer search for Slender, read the article about it and they link the thread on Reddit, then scroll to the bottom of the page and youll see a link right at the bottom of the comments  on Reddit (thats the one i used) Or ill post it tonight, if the mods are happy for me to do so.

 I had a go at this. Very scary, and I didn't even manage to find any notes. Are they pinned to the trees? I did find some gas tank things and a building.

 I got 4 as well before he got me and to be honest I wanted him to get me so it would be over. Absolutely shit myself. Great little game.

Oh and why the fuck do they give you the option of zooming in? I don't want to see what's out there.

 Finally played it.

It's not quite as scary as I had imagined or hoped but the feeling of dread is pretty pungent. It's no Amnesia but definitely worth a download. My main issue is that Slenderman just isn't very scary looking. Everything else: the sound and atmosphere are great but...then he shows up and ...well...he looks kinda crappy.

Might try SCP sometime...looks creepy as hell. Any download links?
