Yeah, even sweeping aside the copy protection issue, you need some form of DVD decrypting library present or Handbrake won't work with DVD's anyway, neither will Windows Media Player for that matter. PowerDVD, VLC Media Player etc, they all install the runtimes/plugins needed. Beyond that you may still need something to strip of the CSS encryption, like AnyDVD etc. Really all depends on what's already installed by way of playback software.
